Hector Lopez Obituary

Hector Lopez, 60, of Cisco passed from this life into eternal Glory August 20, 2016 in Temple, Texas Services will be Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 1:00 PM in

Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Roach officiating. Burial will follow in the Atwell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 until 7 Tuesday

evening at the funeral home.

Hector was born October 6, 1955 in Ranger Texas to Sefarino and Elena (Torres) Lopez. He Graduated from Cisco High School in 1974 and

Angelo State University in 1978 with a Bachelors Degree in Education. He taught history in Peaster, Texas for two years. He worked for

Allsup’s Convenience stores for several years then finished his career as a correctional officer for the Texas Department of Justice, at the

Wallace, Ware and Walker-Sayle Units.

He is survived by his loving wife, Ona Lopez, whom he married October 1, 1994 in Cisco, Texas. Also surviving are brothers Joe Alfred and

Jamie Lopez both of Lubbock, and Oscar Lopez of Dallas; Sisters, Velia Conger of Cisco, Delia and Lori Lopez of Austin, and numerous

nieces and nephews and other family members who loved him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents Sefarino and Elena Lopez.
