Von Dene Willett Obituary
Rising Star-- Von Dene Willett, 78, of Rising Star passed from this life Tuesday September 22, 2015 in Eastland. Funeral services were held at 10:00 AM Friday, September 25, 2015 at Kimbrough Funeral Home Chapel in Cisco with Pastor Stan Roberts officiating. Burial followed in the Rising Star Cemetery directed by Kimbrough Funeral Home. Visitation was Thursday evening from 5PM until 7PM at the funeral home.
Von Dene was born August 11, 1937 in Rising Star the daughter of Damon Evon (Vonnie) and Edria Goldene (Bowman) Ware. She was a graduate of Rising Star High school and had attended Cisco Junior College. She married Kenneth Jeff Willett on June 3, 1955 in Rising Star he preceded her in death May 6, 2007. Von Dene was a member of The Victory Life Church of Brownwood.
Survivors include: Daughters Denise Emert of Eastland, and Dena Withers and husband Joey of Rising Star; Son David Willett and wife Angi of Rising Star; Brothers Jay Ware and wife Stella and Gary Ware both of Rising Star; Grandchildren Dedria Sadler and husband Darren and Lacy Knight all of Eastland; Heath Knight and wife Bri of Baird, Hayley and Hannah Willett of Rising Star, a Great Granddaughter Daila Sadler of Eastland, Nephew Terry Ware, and Niece Judy Ware both of Rising Star.
