Lucille Denton Moore Obituary

Lucille Denton Moore, age 99 years went to be with the Lord, May 1, 2016 at the Granbury Care Center in Granbury, Texas.  

   She was born in Moran, Texas to Bud and Mary Maples Denton on Dec. 27, 1916. She attended school in Ida Belle, OK. She married Elvis “Pete” Moore, May 1934

at Gorman, Texas.  They farmed in the Amity Community in Brown County, and moved to Peterburgs, TX. in 1953. For 25 years she ran the Moore’s School Store. 

   Lucille was a member of the Petersburg Methodist Church. 

   She is survived by son, Donald  Moore and wife Mary Beth of Granbury; one granddaughter, Crystal Cates of Granbury; three great-grandchildren. One sister,

Delia Walker of Rising Star; nieces Charleen, Kathleen, Shirley, Dot, Pat and Linda; and a nephew, Howard Walker.  

   The family would like to thank the Granbury Care Center for her loving care. She was loved by all and will be missed so much.
