Vertia Juanita Campbell Obituary

   Vertia Juanita Campbell 90, of Abilene formerly of Cisco passed away March 14, 2016.

   Funeral Services were at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 at New Life Tabernacle United Pentecostal Church officiated by Pastor Gary Teague with burial to follow at Scranton Cemetery

under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home.

   Juanita was born September 6, 1925 to George Lemuel and Emma Cora (Bryant) Ingram in the Sedwick community of Shackelford County, Texas. She was employed as a cook in the food

service industry having worked at the White Elephant Truck Stop in Cisco.   Juanita was married to Stanley Benjamin Honea Sr. and later to Jay Campbell.

   Survivors are her children: Joseph (Sonny) Burge, Robert Burge and wife Carolyn, Vertia Starr, Daughter- in- law Jo Ann Honea and a sister; Fay Hutchins. Seventeen grandchildren,

nine great- grandchildren and one great- great grandchild. A son; Stanley Benjamin Honea Jr. preceded her in death.
