Rangers fall in Region V Final; Recieve ‘At-large’ bid for National Tournament

The Ranger College Rangers did everything right for two days at the Region V Tournament in Brownwood last weekend. The shots fell when they needed for the Rangers to come from be- hind to win the first two games against Frank Phillips and Hill. However, on Saturday, Odessa College finally stopped the Rangers, 71-65, for the Region V Championship. Ranger did get that all important call from NJCAA on Sunday for an ‘at-large’ bid for the National basketball tournament in Hutchinson, Kansas later in March.
