George Gaines Dickerson, Jr. Obituary

   George Gaines Dickerson, Jr., 62, was born on Sept. 12, 1953 in Kermit, Texas to George and Alma Dickerson. 

   He passed away on Feb. 28, 2016 in Alpine, Arizona. 

  George was preceded in death by his mother Alma and son G.M. 

   George was a true renaissance man. He loved horses, cooking, writing, reading and storytelling. He was a published author. 

   He is survived by his wife Marci; his son Trey; 3 grandchildren; 2 sisters, Pam and Laura and husband Stephen; 2 brothers, Jimmy and Jay and wife Vicki; 4 nephews;

4 nieces and  numerous great-nieces and nephews. 

   George was loved and will be greatly missed. 

   He requested to be cremated and a private service will be held by family.
