Annie Opal Honeycutt Obituary
CISCO- Annie Opal Honeycutt of Cisco went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 20, 2016 at the age of 91.
Opal was brought into this world September 25, 1924 by Joseph and Nancy Miranda West in Mills, New Mexico. In September 1945, Opal was married to Alfred Tennyson Honeycutt in Grand Prairie, Texas. She was a loving mother and home maker, and served her community by working at E.L. Graham Memorial Hospital for many years. Opal was a member of East Cisco Baptist Church.
Opal was preceded in death by her husband Alfred Honeycutt, son Floyd Honeycutt, granddaughter Debra Starr, six brothers and two sisters.
Survivors include her children Senova (Nobie) LaMothe, Frank and Beverly Scholz, Doris Honeycutt, Gloria (June) Glenn, Nancy and Lynn Campbell, Joyce Cagle, and daughter in law Donna Honeycutt. Grandchildren Steve and Lori LaMothe, Kim Pasley, Sandy Whitted, Donna Scholz, Larry Westover, Laura and Forrest Gibson, Tim Westover, Martha Kincaid, Bryan Campbell, Brandon Davis, Tyler and Amanda Clement, Nathan and Alana Addison, Gabriel Honeycutt and Clayton Honeycutt. She is also survived by 25 great-grandchildren, 13 great-great-grandchildren, her sister-in-law Merlene Switzer, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation will be held 5 pm - 7 pm Tuesday, February 23 at Kimbrough Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2 pm Wednesday, February 24 at Kimbrough Funeral Home with burial at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco.
