Results from the 2016 Cisco Livestock Show

The Cisco Livestock Show was held on January 9, 2016, at the Cisco Ag Farm.  Mr. J.T. Naron, a vocational agriculture teacher at Merkel, judged the show.  The Cisco Livestock Show Association distributed approximately $1,800 in prize money to the show exhibitors.  Once again County Commissioner Robert Rains donated the showmanship trophies this year.  This is a long tradition started by Commissioner C.B. (Runt) Dill that Commissioners Billy Bacon, Reggie Pittman, and Robert Rains have continued throughout the years.

The stock show would not have been possible without the hard work of the exhibitors, their parents, and school officials.  The Association appreciates the tireless efforts of our local vocational agriculture teachers, Mr. Jerry Conring and Mrs. Ginger Holton, in putting on the stock show and supporting the local FFA chapter members in their many endeavors.
