The Eastland County Commission met this Monday, starting their meeting with a prayer and pledge. The council was briefed by two Blue Cross Blue Shield representatives. The briefing was about the progress of the Teladock benefit they passed. In the past few months of using this service they had 23 consultations saving the county $5,300.00 in fees for doctor and emergency room visits. This has prevented employees from missing work and having down time due to lengthy doctors visits.
