Dalton C. Hardin Obituary

   KNOX CITY – Dalton C. Hardin, age 84, went home to be with the Lord Monday, December 7, 2015.

  A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 11th at 2 PM at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church on FM 2526 between HWY 183 and HWY 6.  Mike Bacon is officiating.

   Dalton was born March 26, 1931 in Abilene, TX to the Rev. A.C. Hardin and Florris McCord Hardin.  He married the beautiful Julia Ann Bruton November 24, 1954 in Brownwood, TX.   Dalton joined the US Navy and served our country until his retirement.

   Dalton is survived by his loving wife of 61 years, Julia Ann of Knox City, two sons; Russell Lee and wife Kathy Hardin of Carbon and Dalton C. Jr. and wife Peggy Hardin of Eastland; two daughters, Deborah Sue and husband Ray Bisbee of Eastland and Florris JoAnn Hardin of Abilene; and one sister Maxine Gressett of Midland.  He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.
