Food & Fun Planned By Rising Star Chamber Of Commerce At Annual Octoberfest On Saturday, Oct. 10

Per Judy Green of the Rising Star Chamber of Commerce, plans are being finalized for Saturday’s Octoberfest at the Hwy. 36 Park with events for children and adults, including the chance to win money and enjoy the beautiful Fall weather. The day starts off with a fund-raiser breakfast by Star Pride members at 7 AM; items for sale will be sausage wraps, biscuits and sausage and coffee. Prices will range from $1.50 to $3.00. Star Pride’s table will be set up under the pavilion. All proceeds benefit the special projects Star Pride does for Rising Star.
