Anita Faye (Carlisle) Anderson Obituary
Anita Faye (Carlisle) Anderson, 82, of Nacogdoches, Texas passed away Saturday, October 3, 2015. Graveside services will be held Tuesday, October 6, 2015 at 12:00 PM at Eastland City Cemetery in Eastland, Texas, with Reverend Jim Wright officiating.
Anita was born near Goldthwaite, Texas on August 21, 1933. She attended Goldthwaite High School and met her high school sweetheart, Bill Anderson; they married on November 17, 1951 in Zephyr, Texas and celebrated 55 years together until his death in 2006.
Mrs. Anderson was a member of First Baptist Church of Eastland, Texas.
She enjoyed the holidays and loved the time spent with family. She collected angels to watch over her family and home.
Anita was known as “Mom” to her grandchildren
n and great grandchildren. She will always be remembered for her awesome sugar cookies and making fun crafts with the grandchildren. She was a very loving person with a servant’s heart.
Surviviors include her daughter and son-in-law Debbie and George Wages of Nacogdoches, Texas; son and daughter in law Dicky and Katherine Anderson of Abilene, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Jennifer and Brad Chandler of Olathe, Kansas; grandson and wife, Bryan and Dee Wages of Center, Texas; granddaughter and husband, Amanda and Mike Comegys of Plano, Texas; granddaughter, Amy Braden of Abilene, Texas; grandson and wife Ramby and Lacey Anderson of Albany, Texas; great grandchildren, Matt and Luke Comegys of Plano, Texas; Wesley and Hannah Wages of Center, Texas; Page, Pearson and Anderson Braden of Abilene, Texas; and Ryder Anderson of Albany, Texas; also niece and husband, Neni and Rick Newman of Tyler, Texas; and great nephew, Daniel Newman of Tyler, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Anderson; father, Woodie Woodrow Carlisle; mother, Gracie Bea (Mason) Thompson and brother, Donald Carlisle.
