The Eastland Mavericks are 2-0 after the first 3 weeks of the season. They convincingly defeated the Merkel Badgers and then had a marathon 3 OT victory over the Clyde Bulldogs. The Mavs will face off against the Breckenridge Buckaroos and then start district play next week. Here are the year to date stats. Passing Josh Gosnell has played in 2 games. He has attempted 52 passes and completed 37 of those passes for 67% completion rate. He has thrown for 475 yards with 5 touchdowns and 3 INT.
