Betty Jane (Parmer) Nix Obituary
CISCO – Betty Jane (Parmer) Nix, age 91, passed away on Thursday July 9, 2015. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 13, 2015 at 10:00 am at Chambers Funeral Home Chapel in Cisco with burial followed at Oakwood Cemetery with Ron Price officiating. Visitation was held on Sunday July 12th from 5:00 – 7:00 pm.
Betty was born April 12, 1924 in Cisco, Texas. She graduated from Cisco High School in 1942. Betty married Charles Holland Nix on January 25, 1946 in Eastland, Texas. She worked at West Texas Utilities for 27 years.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband Charles Holland Nix; her parents and her two sisters.
She is survived by her son Randy Nix of Cisco; two grandsons, Tracy Nix and his wife Becki and Kelly Nix and his wife Heather both of Weatherford; granddaughter Jaclyn and her husband Noe Rodriguez, Jr., of Cisco; three great-grandsons, Bryson, Randy and Konner and three great-granddaughters, Hailey, Ava and Gracie.
She was know as Memaw to many friends and family and she will be dearly missed and remembered.
