Dorothy Faye (Brawley) Woodard Obituary

   CISCO- Dorothy Faye (Brawley) Woodard, 83, of Cisco, TX, passed away on July 5, 2015, at the Eufaula Manor, Eufaula, OK. 

   Dorothy was born on April 20, 1932, in Nimrod, TX, to John and Josephine (Curtis) Brawley.  She grew up in the Nimrod Community, where she graduated high school.

   She was married to Nolan Woodard in May 1956 in Abilene, TX.  To this union 3 children were born.  Mr. Woodard passed away on March 23, 1966.  Dorothy raised her family in San Antonio, TX and later moved back to the Cisco, TX area.  She was a member of the Gospel Assembly Church in Cisco.

   Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a son, Timothy Woodard,  6 brothers and 3 sisters.

   Survivors include: 2 Daughters & Son-in-law, Becky Woodard of Odessa, TX, Cindy Woodard Whitt & husband Tim of Eufaula, OK, a Sister, Annette Claborn of Cisco, TX,  4 Grandsons, Dallas Whitt, Miles Whitt, Nolan Woodard & Austin Woodard, other relatives and many nieces and nephews.

   A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 11, 2015, at the Hodges Baptist Church, 13933 CR 495, Hawley, TX 79525, with Kenneth McGough, officiating.  Burial will be in the Midway Cemetery, Hodges, TX.  Cremation arrangements were made with the Hunn Black & Merritt Funeral Home & Crematory.  Online condolences may be made at www.hbmfuneralhome.com.
