Many young boys left Ranger High School in the late 60s and joined or were drafted into the military. Many ended up in Vietnam. Larry Joe Rodgers was one of those Ranger boys who ended up in Vietnam. Larry Joe was killed on March 17th 1968. The citizens of Ranger need to remember and be proud of their Ranger boy who became a man very young and died a hero.
