City Salutes Retiring Duo, Okays Engineering Study, Nixes Copter Billing

In a one hour-plus session Monday the Eastland Commission paid appreciation and said good-bys to two members, voted to buy a $125,000 waste water treatment plant engineering study, but vetoed an invitation to add a $5 helicopter monthly membership fee to 1,500 city water meter customers.
