A New member joins the Rotary Club

The Eastland Rotary Club met this past week at one of their favorite local restaurants La Hacienda for a special meeting to induct a new member, Carol Bennington.  Carol is the new EHS school counselor.  The Rotarians also had a program and long  discussion about the Affordable Care Act lead by Clint Coffee of State Farm Insurance.  Many folks are very confused on how this healthcare works and how to utilize it.  The fact of the matter is, it seems to help some low-income families but not those who are in the poverty brackets.  Although some see this as free healthcare,it truly is not because all the American tax payers are indirectly paying for this healthcare (which in reality is only helping the middleclass and higher who are still paying out of pocket for it).
