Shed Hunting Is Good Sportsman Hobby

Whitetail bucks that are indigenous to Eastland County normally shed their horns in January and February each year. The young buck pictured has shed one side of his head. Their heads are somewhat out of balance until both are gone. Both sides routinely fall off within a few hours to a couple of days.
