Local Texas Farmers Union Hears State President

District 4 Texas Farmers Union held their annual meeting in January to elect officers and prepare for the State Convention. The dinner was held at the Texas Cattle Exchange Restaurant. The District was honored to have Wes Sims, State Farmers Union President, speak to the group. Sims discussed his trip to Washington, D.C. in regard to the farm bill, which had not been passed at that time.
