Cattle Truck Tips on I-20

On Friday morning, motorists experienced heavy delays on the I-20W as traffic was diverted onto the access road. The cause of this was an accident involving a semi-truck transporting a load of cattle. According to reports by the responding DPS Trooper, the vehicle failed to follow the curve just after the Highway 6 underpass. This resulted in the truck entering the median and turning on its side. Damage was severe to the vehicle, trailer, and 12-15 head of cattle were killed or injured in the incident.
