Eagles soar over Panthers

The Valley Mills Eagles hosted the Gorman Panthers this past Friday evening in a 2A non-district matchup. The Eagles had come off of a 1-point heart breaker to the Santo Wildcats. The Panthers were also looking for their first victory of the season after going down in defeat to the Millsap Bulldogs in Week 1. The Eagles took early control of this game and never looked back. Valley Mills scored twice in the first quarter, giving them a 16-0 lead over Gorman.
