Herrera and Padron lead Panthers in Win

The Gorman Panthers participated in their own Gorman Hot Hoops Tournament this past weekend. Their first round game pitted them against Iredell. Iredell came out strong and quick, putting up 22 points in the 1st quarter. The Panthers could only muster 8, thus being down 14 after 1. The Dragons continued their pressure, taking a 29-13 lead into the half. Gorman did not quit, winning the 3rd quarter by 5 and cutting the Dragon lead to 40- 29. Iredell finished the game with 53 points to the Panthers 38.
