To honor America and the freedoms and rights we all enjoy, and as a reminder that such rights must be diligently defended lest they be lost, Eastland County Criminal Defense Lawyers will gather on the steps of the Eastland County Courthouse at 10:00 a.m. Thursday, July 3, to present a public reading of the United States Declaration of Independence. The public is invited to attend.

The annual ceremony is part of a statewide effort by defense lawyers affiliated with the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. (TCDLA)

This year the Defense Bar will present Readings of the Declaration in over fifty (50) county seats across Texas. Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers and TCDLA are united in their defense of all Texans'  Liberties.
