JURY COMMENDED FOR 99 YR. SENTENCE

Bringing a 91st District Court Ranger murder case to a close Thursday, Donald Blaine Davis was sentenced to 99 years in prison along with a $7, 500.00 fine. According to Criminal District Attorney Russ Thomason the case was never a self defense case. There was no record of any type of restraining order from the victim Bobby Glenn Blair, or any thing found showing the signs of a self defense act.
