Employee of the Month Award Presented

The Eastland Independent School District Board of Trustees held their regular monthly meeting on Monday, August 11th. Following invocation and the Pledge of Allegiance, Superintendent Jason Cochran presented the August Employee of the Month Award to Band Director Stephen Cox. Trustees heard a request from the City of Eastland for a piece of property on N. Seaman Street, which was placed up for sale in the July Tax Auction. Since the property did not sale at auction, it becomes property of the four taxing entities in the county. The City of Eastland requested that EISD sign over their portion to the City.
