City Continues Effort To Peddle Golf Course More Lifeguards Needed Here

Two things became clear at the May make-up City Commission meeting Monday evening: a contract was extended with the firm that is peddling Lake Side Golf Course and City Pool usage is being limited due to the number of available life guards. The City presently carefully schedules pool availability based on an adequate number of guards. Qualified guard applications probably would be welcomed at City Hall. The golf course was a gift to the City some time back, after a reported $300,000.00 water line was installed by the City.
