Devastation in Eastland County This Weekend

Waves of several horrific tornadoes and beating hail lingered for hours over Eastland County Saturday evening which has left a devastating trail of damaged homes, property, and vehicles.  Confirmation of one death from a direct hit tornado in Cisco, Texas has made national news. County emergency first responders have worked around the clock doing safety checks, responding to the injuried, stranded, and  isolated.  Most of the county has lost electricity within the last 24 hours.   Lake Leon has reached flood levels on Sunday evening and there is more rain projected for the next week ahead.  Eastland County Today thanks our law enforcement, fireman, emergency responders, and volunteers for doing a great job of protecting us all. Today all citizens have come together to begin cleaning up and building life's back.
