Win Sets up District Title Game vs. Eastland

Landen Lewis rushed for 138 yards and Kotie Hoover caught 3 passes for 82 yards as the Cisco Loboes completely overwhelmed the Jacksboro Tigers at Chesley Field Friday evening, 60-6. The win by the Loboes moves their overall record to 9-0 and 6-0 in District 2 AAA play. The district championship will be on the line this Friday in Eastland as the Loboes finish their regular season against the undefeated Eastland Mavericks. Both teams have qualified for the playoffs, one will be the champion and the other will be the runner-up. The win by the Loboes was their 20th home game win in a row. This year’s group of seniors never lost at Chesley Field in the four years they played there. After forcing the Tigers to a three and out on their first possession, the Loboes drove down the field with Taylor Massey hitting Cody Gibson for 10 yards, Kotie Hoover for 25 yards and Tyler Callahan for 11 yards.
