Scranton Exes Homecoming Set For Saturday, May 3

On the 50th anniversary year of the closing of the Scranton school system, former students, teachers and residents will return to the campus Saturday, May 3 for the annual Scranton Exes Homecoming. All that remain of the school physical plant is a building constructed during the mid 1950s, now used as the Scranton Community Center, and the ruins of the depression-era, stone gymnasium. But event organizers promise a day of celebration and good times as Scranton Exes gather to renew old acquaintances, enjoy good food and maybe exchange a tall tale or two.
