Russell Thompson Named New Head Football Coach At Cisco College

Russell Thompson has been named the new head football coach at Cisco College, according to athletic director Ryan Johnson. Thompson comes to Cisco from Tyler Junior College, where he has served as assistant football coach for six seasons. “Coach Thompson brings a wealth of experience in junior college football, particularly the Southwest Junior College Football conference,” Johnson said. “I am impressed with his philosophy of the complete student athlete and how it translates to success in the classroom and on the field.
