OVERPASS REPAIRS SCHEDULED FOR I-20 NEAR CISCO Motorists can expect nighttime road closures as crews work to repair CR 177 overpass |

BROWNWOOD – Beginning March 17, 2015, construction crews will begin nighttime repairs to the County Road 177 overpass of Interstate 20, near Cisco. The westbound lanes of I-20 will be closed during repairs. Motorists will exit I-20 at the Spur 490 exit (MM 337) and re-enter the interstate past Highway 183 in Cisco (MM 332).
Weather permitting, work should be completed by early-April. Lane closures will take place Sunday through Thursday nights. The westbound lanes will be closed between 7:30 p.m. and 5:30 a.m.
Motorists will need to use caution and obey traffic signs through this detour. Additionally, law enforcement will direct traffic at the intersection of the I-20 frontage road and Hwy 183 in Cisco. Drivers should plan accordingly.
The contract cost $119,200 and was awarded to L.C. Jordan and Son, out of Lufkin, Texas.
