High winds may have been a contributing factor in the spreading of a grass fire in Cisco on Friday, Feb. 28th. A fire was reported to dispatch around 2 PM. In addition to the Cisco Fire Department, units responded from Eastland, Carbon, and Gorman. The fire was located South of Interstate 20, on County Road 129, just west of the new Gregory Simmons Memorial Airport.
