Cisco Elementary Lunchroom Caught on Fire Saturday

The Cisco Elementary School cafeteria caught on fire Saturday evening.  

From the Cisco Fire department - At 5:33 PM the Cisco Fire Department responded to the Cisco Elementary School on West 11th St. Upon arrival there was moderate smoke coming out of a roof vent over the kitchen area. The fire department made entry and extinguished the fire quickly.

From Principal Sharon Wilcoxen - The fire looks to have started in the kitchen.  The kitchen is a total loss.  There is smoke damage in the cafeteria.  The food from the freezers has been moved to the high school.  As of right now, Sunday afternoon, School is still on for Tuesday, Monday is a holiday.   The source of the fire is still under investigation.  The fire walls kept the fire contained.  Clean up is going on today and tomorrow.
