Will Warren catches Big Catfish

Will Warren, son of Dr. Kimberly Warren and Rik Smith, caught this 8.5 lb catfish on August 2, 2014 off of their boat house on Lake Leon. Will is 11 years old and has been a hardcore fisherman since his Grandpa helped him catch his first bream when he was 4. Will would sit in the boat house fishing for hours as a 4 year old so his mother knew she had a fisherman in the making. Besides fishing for catfish and crappie off of the boat house, Will loves casting for bass all over Lake Leon with his previous largest fish being a 4 lb largemouth he caught when he was 10. Will has also learned to fly fish with his father the last couple of years during summer trips to the Rocky Mountains.
