Nominations Open for Gifted and Talented Program

Rising Star Independent School District will begin accepting nominations for the Gifted and Talented Program for students in grades 1-11 beginning February 22, 2016. Parents, educators, and community members may submit nominations of students believed to be intellectually and creatively gifted learners who should be considered for participation in the gifted program. Students who are nominated go through a screening procedure which requires special testing.
