May Opens District With 2 Wins

The May Tigers have begun their 2014 baseball district season. Just before they started district play,they had 1 non-scheduled non-district game against the Gordon Longhorns. The game was Friday, March 7 in May. The Tigers, with solid pitching from Brody Elkins, were able to defeat the Longhorns, 12-0. A week later, Friday, March 14, the May Tigers opened their district schedule with the Cross PlainsBuffaloes. This one was well under control by the Tigers and pitcher Kelton Mote.
