Rising Star Lions Club to Host Charter Banquet Fundraiser March 21

In case you have not heard, Rising Star had just chartered it’s very own chapter of the Lions Club. We are a service organization dedicated to the betterment of our community. Our first community project will be to build an outdoor basketball court at the city park and to remodel the park restrooms. Not only will this project provide much needed recreation facilities for the local youth but it will also improve the look of our City Park. We are very excited to get this project underway and have already begun raising funds for it.
