City Of Rising Star Hires Chief of Police and City Clerk

The City of Rising Star hired a Chief of Police and City Clerk during a special called session of the City Council on March 3. Randal Lain was hired as Police Chief and will be moving here from Pittsburg, Texas. According to Darwin Archer, Rising Star City Administrator, Lain will assume his duties in mid-March.
