Ricardo pena Olvera

Ricardo Pena Olvera, age 47 of Gorman passed away, Friday, October 9, 2015 in Eastland. Rosary was at 7:00 P.M. Tuesday evening, October 13th at the Higginbotham Funeral Home Chapel. Services were held at 12:30 P.M. on Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at the Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in De Leon.  Burial will be in the De Leon Cemetery. Ricardo was born, January 31, 1968 in Pearsall, Texas to Estanislado C. Olvera and Amelia Pena Olvera. He married Maribel Rodriguez on August 19, 1989 in De Leon, Texas.  Ricardo worked for EBAA Iron, Inc. for more than twenty years.  He attended the Saint Mary’s Catholic Church in Dublin.   As an avid sports fan, you could find him playing baseball, softball, watching the Dallas Cowboys, and going fishing His greatest joy was September 4, 1998 when his son, Ricardo, Jr. was born.  His favorite pastime was watching his son play sports for the Gorman Panthers.  He enjoyed traveling with his wife and son. He was a kind and gentle person and a friend to everyone. Everything he did was with his heart.
