Pebble Elaine Nix Harrison Obituary

 EASTLAND- Pebble Elaine Nix Harrison, 83, of Eastland passed away January 17, 2015 in Abilene, Texas. 

   Her services are 2 PM Tuesday, January 20, 2015 at the Daugherty Street Church of Christ with Larry Roberts officiating. All arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home Eastland. 

   Pebble Elaine Nix Harrison was born February 10, 1931 in Morton Valley to John and Josie Nix.  She graduated from Morton Valley High School.  She went to Abilene Business College.  Among her favorite occupations were working at the Eastland Tax Office, Jonah J. Finley Garage and the Olden Post Office.  She enjoyed her church family, being involved with the service center, but her fondest memories were her family.

   She married Walter Dean Harrison (John) on September 14, 1949.  They had three children, Terrell Dean, Tony Wayne and Johnnie Mason and husband, Pat.   

   Siblings include: brother William Corbley Nix and his wife, Doris; sister Johnnie Robinson and her husband, Jack; sister Jo Jane Beck and her husband, Clifton; brother-in-law Jake Harrison and his wife, Oat; brother-in-law Jed Harrison and his wife Jim Beth; brother-in-law Bill Harrison and wife, Liz; sister-in-law LaVerne; sister-in-law Lavelle Morton and husband, Debs; sister-in-law Burma Lee Bradford and husband, Howard.  All of her nieces and nephews experienced her unconditional love.  

   Her favorite saying was “this too shall pass.”   Time will pass and she will live in our hearts forever.
