CISCO- Patty Ruth Cheek, 76, of Cisco passed away September 1, 2015 at Hendricks Medical Center in Abilene. Graveside Services were held at 11 A.M. Friday, September 4, 2015 at Oakwood Cemetery in Cisco officiated by Lee Lewis under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home of Cisco. Visitation was held 5-7 Thursday at Kimbrough Funeral Chapel, 300 West 9th Street. Patty was born December 2, 1938 in Abilene, Texas to Willie Obert McDonald and Jessie Henry (Taylor) McDonald. She was a food service manager for Neiman Marcus at Ridgemar Mall in Fort Worth. Patty married Dee Robbins, December 31, 1954,. She married Charles Cheek, September 29, 1994 he preceded her in death January 5, 2009. Patty was a member of I-20 Church of Christ in Cisco, and a member of Altamesa Church of Christ in Fort Worth, Texas. Patty was also a member of the Altamesa Chorale and the 42 Club. Survivors are daughters: Sharon Greenlee and husband Randy of Rockwall, Texas and Rocky McKinzie and husband Steve of Patillo, Texas. Brothers: Stephen McDonald of Cisco and Tony McDonald and wife Vickie of Chatsworth, GA. Stepdaughter: Laura Ledford and husband David of Burleson, Texas. Stepson: Tom Cheek and wife Debbie of Burleson and Ronnie Cheek of Fort Worth, Texas. Grandchildren: Chris Greenlee, Justin Greenlee, Michelle Elliott, Melissa Greenlee, Leslie Bollier, Brandi Morgan, Kelly Fears, and Alicia Roberts. Eleven Great Grandchildren and One Great Great Grandchild. Patty was preceded in death by her husbands, five brothers, three sisters and her best friend Laverne Ballinger.
