RANGER – Jacob Lee “Jake” Rhyne, 39, of Ranger, passed away Sunday May 17, 2015 in Waco. The family will hold a memorial service at a later date. Local arrangements are under the direction of Edwards Funeral Home of Ranger. Jake was born on December 14, 1975 in Ranger to Horace Ray Rhyne and Rena Jo (White) Rhyne. He graduated from Ranger High School. He worked for EBAA Iron for 19 years. He was a good father who was very involved in his children activities, especially sports. He coached baseball for a time and enjoyed playing softball. Survivors include his mother, Rena Jo; a son, Dyllan Rhyne; a daughter, Skyi Rhyne; their mother, Rocki Hughes; siblings, Kathy, Danny, Laverne, Rhonda, Randy, Pee Wee, and Jaden; step-father, Mike De La Santos, and his children, Amy and Kristy.
