Clifford Dale Tankersley, 60, born December 21, 1954 to G.W. and Marie Tankersley, passed away on April 12, 2015 at Hendrick Medical Center, Abilene, Texas due to heart complications. Clifford retired from Chevron Oil Co. as an instrument technician. He is survived by two daughters, Susie Abeyta and husband Fonzy of Jal, New Mexico and Joni Harrison and husband Scott of Lubbock, Texas. Four grandchildren, Danica and Nathan Abeyta and Evan and Austin Harrison. Two brothers Norman Tankersley and wife Donna of Mineral Wells, Texas and Phil Tankersley and wife Jane of Haslet, Texas. One sister-in-law, Kathy Tankersley of Ranger, Texas and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Terry Tankersley. Crematory to be done by Girdner Funeral Home in Abilene, Texas. No memorial services will be held at this time.
