Bobby A. Hallum

   CLYDE – Bobby A. Hallum, 83, of Clyde died Tuesday, May 03, 2016 in a Big Spring hospital. Graveside services will be at 12:00 p.m.Saturday, May 7, 2016 at the  

Staff Cemetery in Eastland County under the direction of Bailey-Howard Funeral Home of Clyde. Visitation will be Friday from 6 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

 

Bobby was born February 15, 1933 in Eastland to William Adron and Nettie Lucille (Honea) Hallum. He was a graduate of Eastland High School and enlisted in the

U.S. Army shortly after. He married Flora Mae in Freeport December 1, 1983 and has been a resident of Clyde for the past 20 years. 

 

He is survived by five sons, Gregory Don Hallum of Abilene, Darrell Hallum of Alabama, Roger Hallum and wife Karen of Alabama, Brett Hallum of Alabama and

Bobby Allen Hallum of Alabama; a daughter Linda Matthews of Abilene; brother Homer Hallum of Ranger; two sisters, Vanetta Arnold and husband James of Olden and

Barbara Williams and husband Mickey of Oklahoma; 14 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren and 3 great great grandchildren. 

 

Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, son Michael, wife Flora Mae in 2008 and a brother Ronnie Hallum. 

 

In lieu of flowers the family request memorial donations to the Hospice of the Big Country, 4601 Hartford, Abilene, Texas 79605.
