CISCO- Bettie O. Guess 84 of Cisco, formerly of Jacksboro, Texas went home to her Lord and Savior May 9, 2015 due to a tornado that demolished her home south of Cisco, Texas. Funeral Service will be held Monday, May 18, 2015 at 10:00 A.M. at Leon River Cowboy Church in Olden, Texas officiated by Pastor Paul Howie. Interment will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Oakwood Cemetery in
Jacksboro, Texas under the direction of Kimbrough Funeral Home of Cisco. Bettie was born January 26, 1931 to Frank Tobin Geer and Thelma Lucille (Walker) Geer in Sherwood, Oklahoma. She married Clarence Donald Osteen October 11, 1948 he preceded her in death in 2002. Bettie then married Raymond Edward Guess March 7, 2004 and he also preceded her in death in 2011. She moved to Cisco in 2012 and made her homenext to her daughter and son in law south of Cisco. Bettie was a volunteer for the Cisco Senior Nutrition Program delivering Meals on Wheels; she was also a member of the 42 Club and a supporter of Grace House in Weatherford, Texas and the Christian Motorcyclist Association. Survivors are a daughter: Donna Reich and husband Tim of Cis c o ; Son: Ron Osteen of Keller, Texas; 4 Step-Children; Grandchildren: Jeremy Osteen and wife Missy, Amy Aragon and husband Harold, Stephen Reich and wife Erin, Kimberly Fullen and husband Tracy, Hannah Higgins and husband Jason and Orey Osteen. 12 Step Grandchildren, 10 Great Grandchildren, 19 Step Great great Grandchildren and 1 Great great grandchild.
