Sherry Bailey Memorial Service

   Memorial services for Sherry Bailey, 63, of Lamesa will be held on Friday, August 26, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at First Baptist Church

with Pastor Brian Pinkerton officiating. Visitation will be held Thursday, August 25, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Branon Funeral Home. 

Arrangements are under the direction of Branon Funeral Home. 

   Sherry passed away on Monday, August 22, 2016 in Lamesa, Texas with her family by her side. 

   She was born August 16, 1953 in Lamesa, Texas to A.L. and Jean (Middleton) Wallace.  She attended

Lamesa schools until the 5th grade. She graduated in 1971 from Fort Stockton High School and attended Angelo State University. 

Sherry was employed with Lamesa I.S.D. for 25 years.  She began her career in 1984 and retired in 2009. Sherry married

Lance Bailey on June 22, 2002 in Lamesa, Texas.  She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandma "Grammy" and friend of many.

   Sherry is survived by her husband, Lance of Lamesa; son, John Lane Scarborough  and wife, Nancy of Rico, Colorado; daughter,

Dru Ann Wahl and husband, Tony of Bullard, Texas; grandchildren, Maeson Grant Scarborough , Peyton Ann Crenshaw and

Brandt Thomas Crenshaw; brothers, Ronald Brewer and wife, Diane of Midland, Texas and Aubrey Wallace and wife,

Nancy of Schulenburg, Texas;  sisters , Jan Brazell and husband, Delton of Fort Worth,Texas and Tana Gray and husband,

Murray of Spicewood, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews. 

   She was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Dan Wallace.
