Delma A. Cantwell Obituary
RANGER – Delma A. Cantwell, 93, of Ranger, passed away Friday July 8, 2016 in Eastland. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 11
at the Bullock Cemetery. The family received friends at Edwards Funeral Home in Ranger Sunday, 6~8:00 p.m.
Mrs. Cantwell was born August 20, 1922 in La Casa to Frank Bargsley and Geneva Matty (Gandy) Barglsey. She graduated from Caddo High School.
She married Willie Odell “W.O.” Cantwell on May 24, 1941 at La Casa. She, along with her husband, was a farmer/rancher at Bullock. She retired from
Munsingerwear after 20 years. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ranger, and enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening, and spending time with
her family. W.O. preceded her in death on June 24, 2006. She was also preceded in death by her parents; 1 sister, Mable Newnham; and 3 brothers, Virgil, James , and Madison Barglsey.
Survivors include 2 sons, Willie Odell Cantwell Jr. and wife Wilma, and Johnny Cantwell; 2 daughters, Geneva (Jenny) Patton, and Nancy Krause and husband Horst;
1 brother, Coy Barglsey and wife Faye; 2 sisters, Betty Howton, and Ruby Leonard and husband Gil; 8 grandchildren, Nanette Edwards and husband Kenny, Allan Patton
and wife Kee, Philip Krause, Jeff Krause and wife Sheila, Ginger Polster and husband Trey, Todd Cantwell and wife Amanda, Clayton Cantwell, and Clinton Cantwell and
wife Jennifer; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
