Lady Mavs Hold Off Dublin

The Eastland Lady Mavericks opened their AAA District 8 schedule by hosting the surprising Dublin Lady Lions last Tuesday evening (Jan. 12). Coming into the contest, the Lady Lions had won the Breckenridge Holiday tournament and had beaten the preseason choice for district champion Lady Buckaroos 3 times.
