Cisco College New High Tech Welding Center

   Cisco College- Abilene will host a media conference and open house on Mon., April 7th from 1:30-2:30 p.m. in the Cisco College Industrial Center Welding Lab, 717 E. Industrial Blvd., Abilene, Texas.  

   Representatives from Cisco College, Workforce Solutions and Development Corporation of Abilene will be present to announce the start-up of new welding programs utilizing state-of-the-art equipment made possible by grants from Texas Workforce Commission in Austin and Development Corporation of Abilene. 

   The new laboratory is slated for use in the welding training portion of Oil and Gas Technology program currently under development at Cisco College. 

   Cisco College also plans a year long advanced for training welding skills specific to the Oil and Gas industry.
